So now you have a working website …

… now we need to keep it working for you!

Building and launching your business website is a massive step forwards but sadly the job doesn’t finish there. Keeping your website fresh and updated regularly is absolutely crucial to keep it producing new orders and enquiries for you. Stale and outdated websites rank very poorly in the search engines too. And even if you do attract visitors, they’re unlikely to be impressed if you haven’t kept it up to date.

What Needs Managing?

Behind the scenes, the website need to have it’s themes, security, plug-ins and search engine optimisation bang up to date. These aspects are the engine of the website keeping it working and ranking well in the search engines.

On the public side, the website needs to appear fresh and current to visitors. To be effective as a lead generator it will need significant content writing and maintaining. To keep it fresh it will need new content, new information and outbound links generating on a very regular and frequent basis; daily if possible.

If you have an e-commerce site with an online shop, the products will have to be kept fresh and up-to-date too. Prices will need to be updated and, perhaps, occasional special offers implemented and withdrawn.

Our Service

Many small businesses take on the job of website management themselves at the same time as looking after their other business and customers’ needs. This can be a huge mistake and you may end up doing neither very well with obvious dire consequences to your bottom line.

We can take on the management of your website on your behalf for a monthly fee. The service will provide all the relevant management and updates required to keep it running smoothly and productively with much less input from yourselves. This will allow you to focus your attention on what you do best – servicing your customers and making a more handsome profit.

How Much Does Website Management Cost?

This will depend on many things and on how much of the management role you require us to take on. Every single website and business will have significantly different needs in this respect. For this reason we would need to quote specifically for your particular requirements. Alternatively, you can name the monthly budget and then prioritise your requirements. In this way, we will focus on the more important issues firstly ensuring that these are given sufficient attention before giving attention to those you have identified as being of lower importance.

The Process

Step 1
Enquire

To begin with, please complete our website management enquiry form below. This will include your contact details and brief details about your management needs.

When completing the form, think hard about any areas that you would prefer to manage yourself and those you’ll need more help with.

Then think about how often you want to publish new posts on your website and where you would be able to resource new content from.

For e-commerce websites think about stock control and pricing updates that will need to be managed too.

Step 2
Consultation

We’ll agree a time and date for a consultation. This will be by Zoom or face-to-face depending on your location and your needs.

As part of this consultation, we’ll discuss the different services that we can provide as well as those elements that you would prefer to manage yourself.

We’ll also discuss and be clear about your obligations to provide relevant, new content to promote your business.

We’ll also briefly discuss your budget and realistic management frequency, cycles and timescales.

Step 3
Agree Terms

Following our discussions, we’ll submit a proposal which clearly describes our role and the necessary commitments that you will need to make. The latter is to ensure you end up with everything you need.

Up to this point, the work we’ve done won’t cost you a penny whether you decide to proceed or not. If you agree to our proposal, you’ll make a small up-front payment and then agreed monthly management payments.

For our website management clients, we also offer preferential rates on other site developments and improvements.

Interested?

Fill in the form below with as much information as you like. And we’ll get in touch to discuss your needs in more detail. And remember – this is a no obligation enquiry; if you’re not entirely satisfied with what we propose, it won’t cost you a penny.

Submitting the form implies that we have permission to use the details provided in order to discuss your needs and provide a proposal. We will retain the information while we believe that you may be interested in our services but they will not be passed on or used for any other purpose. You can ask for your details to be removed at any time.
